Core electrical specs
Rated output: 5 000 VA / 4 000 W, single‑phase 220 V AC pure sine wave from a 48 V DC battery bank.
AC input: nominal 220 V AC, wide input window 90–280 V AC with automatic transfer between line and inverter. Transfer time AC↔DC is typically 15 ms.
Efficiency: line‑mode efficiency ≥ 95% at rated load with fully charged batteries.
Surge capability: up to 2 × rated power for 5 seconds, allowing start‑up of inductive loads like pumps or fridges.
Charging and battery
Built‑in AC charger with adjustable charge current: 0 / 10 / 20 / 30 / 40 A, selectable to match battery size and grid capacity.
Battery protections: over‑charge protection, low‑battery alarm, low‑battery cut‑off and recovery, plus high DC input alarm/cut‑off.
Features and ideal use
Function: inverter‑charger with bypass and pass‑through without battery, not a built‑in MPPT hybrid; solar is handled by an external Felicity MPPT that can communicate with the inverter in Li variants.
Output waveform: pure sine wave in inverter mode; in line/bypass mode the output waveform tracks the AC input.
Protections: overload, short‑circuit, over‑temperature and AC input/output over‑current for safe operation in demanding environments.
Typical applications: home or small‑business backup systems using a 48 V battery bank, where grid/generator plus external solar charger feed the batteries and the inverter supplies stable 4 kW output.
